It is way too hot... I cannot blog, I cannot even think from this freaking heat! Mom has no air conditioning and she won't allow me to sit naked in the living room, in front of the fan! I don't know why not... How did I stand it when I used to live here?
I took a nap yesterday and woke up in a puddle of sweat!
Some where between my daughter's couch and Mom's couch, I got a heck of a kink on the left side of my neck...I think I need to wait until my return to Nevada tomorrow before doing any serious blogging...
More later... when I am cooler and my neck is better...

When I was a kid I played outside all day during the summer Texas heat -- and I don't even remember being hot. Now if that air conditioner isn't throbbing I sink into a puddle.
I guess it is what people acclimate too....I don't know. I wish you well and bid you to dream of igloos.
I knew we were in trouble today with how hot it would be when we were down in Chula Vista (closer to the ocean) and it was 90 degrees at 10:30 a.m. When we drove home, the highest temps we saw was 113.
be safe!

Oh my - i'm sorry, but I'm sitting here laughing as I think of you wanting to sit in front of the fan naked. I'd be in the same position. I can't stand the heat, either.
Pretty scary heat wave!
We got slapped around by that big-time heat. No A/C at all...a friend who lived years ago in a no A/C New York single used to soak a towel and drape it over her to get some sleep. Imagine Las Vegas feeling cooler? Joan reported she was happy to see you (and your sister) the other morning. xoxo
Marylinn: Having AC...even in Las Vegas, I don't notice the heat... Believe it or not, we only have 3-4 months of heat, the rest of the year it is very enjoyable...and even can get cold enough to snow. It was an unexpected treat to see Joan during our early morning walk.
Laoch: You said it! LA broke all records I hear...
Teresa: Believe me, it would be very laughable!! But way cooler...
betty: I even turned off my AC when going up hills on the way home...just in case to prevent over heating...
Jerry: Thank you for the igloo dreams! Those are the days I'd want to watch snow movies!
