I'm Juggling Too Many Balls...

I realized tonight, attempting to write every day about the personal aspects and the people in my life, presents too much pressure.  Like juggling, when you get too many balls in the air, you drop several...

This is my second blog, started because I felt the need to express my inner thoughts about the purpose of our lives.  I needed a place for my contemplative voice.  I think I have stepped off the porch and misplaced my exploration of purpose.  Writing about everything going on each day, is too distracting.

Just felt the need to express I am in the process of re-grouping and re-focusing...

Think more, do less: it is a good recipe.

I am the same way. I stared a "contemplative" blog and only write in it once a week. I give myself permission to be long or short, wander or ruminate. My "main" blog I write for others, mostly. I am enjoying the journey, but I understand about biting off more than you meant to! I look forward to where you go from here.

I can hardly imagine having two blogs...the one I have tugs on my hem, reminding me of the commitment to post at least 10 times a month. One of the gifts of life in human form is the opportunity to change our minds. Hope you and your sister had a glorious week together. xo

I understand completely. My blogs don't get written in as often as they once did, but that is OK. When I do post, I try to make it cover everything that has happened from last post to current post. Sometimes I'm not so successful -but that is OK, too.

Looking forward to seeing what's next...

totally understand, Donna; I have a devotionals blog that I enjoy writing my thoughts from Bible readings, but I get so wrapped up with the other blog and reading other people's blogs that that sadly gets neglected

thinking about things is a good way to get started to make changes you might want to make

I know exactly how your feel. I think you should just write about the things that are the most important to you and that give you catharsis and pleasure. That way your blog will be a release for you and not a burden.
