I want to jump the fence
and run free in a full on gallop!
Racing against the wind
into wide open spaces;
kicking, bucking, spinning,
screaming my will,
screaming my will,
until my legs won't carry me...
Panting joyfully from spent energy
caressing the freedom enveloping me...
Sun on my back,
nostrils flared, pawing the earth,
excited from the experience...
knowing
I followed my heart.
This is my vow-

Thank you so much everyone for your positive comments...I think we can all relate to these traumatic, tension filled times we live in now..the housing market, the economy, all these natural disasters... my prayers go out to all my dear friends in Louisiana and Mississippi. I have been biting my nails and watching the coverage on the water level. I pray the levels hold and there won't be any flooding...
We cannot forget the people of Japan who are still trying to recover from the tsunami and earthquake there...
It is almost overwhelming to think of all the tradegy in the world these days...plus, all the pressure and challenges in all of our homes...
We must keep the faith in prayer, stay in touch, find humor where and whenever we can... Keeping in mind how very small this world becomes each and every day...
