"The purpose of life is a life of purpose."
- Robert Byrne
Sometimes, people just get tired, and their enthusiasm drains off with worry, sickness, and loss. It would be great to be in my eighties and stil enthusiastic about life. I'm hoping for it! :-)
what a great thought. i'm working on keeping my enthusiasm intact. there's so much to be excited for and to look forward to. thanks for the reminder.
I think the important thing to remember is that as we age we evolve and what keeps us enthusiastic at one stage of life will change when we reach another stage. It is finding something new and different and realizing the need for that which is the most important part of aging.
And there is a difference between heart and soul. sandie
