Recipes For Life...
"Nobody grows old merely by living a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals. Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul." ~ Samuel Ullman ~
Sometimes, people just get tired, and their enthusiasm drains off with worry, sickness, and loss. It would be great to be in my eighties and stil enthusiastic about life. I'm hoping for it! :-)
I think the important thing to remember is that as we age we evolve and what keeps us enthusiastic at one stage of life will change when we reach another stage. It is finding something new and different and realizing the need for that which is the most important part of aging.
