donna...one of the best tasting beers I have ever had was when we went to the Guiness brewery in Dublin. It was made freshly and at the end of the tour you got to have one great big pint. The taste lingered in my mouth for hours. while we drank a bunch of different Irish folks got up and sang...ladies in their 80's and young people too. It was memorable. I am glad you had a relaxing day. We need to find time to have more of those!!
Soosie...Oh how I would love to go to Ireland. Mom has been three times. I LOVE Irish movies and Irish books. Anything about Ireland. We hae a wee bit of Irish in our ancestry. I wonder if I went if it would be all I've made it to be in my mind?
You are so right. Guinness has the best "after taste", leaving me wanting more...especially with the Pear Cider. You HAVE to try it.
Thank you. I did have a relaxing day and plan to do the same tomorrow.
glad you had a relaxful day; we need that every so often :) did tell my hubby about the combination of Guinness with peach cider and he thought it would be interesting to try some time :)
