Magpie #141:Memories....

Photo prompt Tess Kincaid
Writing challenge Magpie Tales

memories
locked within my soul
rainy days
with you
walking obliviously...
 drenched clothes
clinging to our bodies
stopping
frequently
like magnets
lingering kisses
more sensuous
shared with nature
 you and me
together
feeling
time stretched ahead
endlessly
for us
not knowing
these memories
and more
must
freeze frame
in my mind
each rain
as you shower
me with your love
each rain
without you...

You've captured the sensuality and the romance of this photo. Such memories are sweet and sometimes bittersweet.

A beautiful and wistful write...I can feel the loss and tender feelings of romance in this lovely poem!

When I saw Tess' prompt I immediately remembered one of the most passionate kisses I ever shared ... under a tree in a torrential downpour. Love your poem.

How sweet and how touching Donna! I wouldn't want to trade anything else whatsoever for wonderful memories with someone dear. One remains young!

Love this phrasing, especially:
"stopping
frequently
like magnets"

Swept along beautifully there. So much more than just a kiss.

Thankfully no one can take away the memories which you have so beautifully brought to life.
