I took it to mean almost polar opposites....clarity being concise, simple and clear and profound meaning deep, complex and hard to understand or grasp. I found it ironic.
I am always seeking clarity in my life and often trip myself up in making things too difficult and complex a lot of the time, which cause me to find clarity.
